Sweet Chick
A couple of friends and I checked out Sweet Chick in the Lower East Side after Easter Sunday service. It was pretty busy, with a 45 minute wait. We had heard great things about this place so we decided to stay put. I liked the ambiance - very rustic and boho-chic; it gave me "cute B&B" vibes. Our waitress was obviously irritated (haha) but she was patient with us, as we were with her. The restaurant is on the small side - patrons and employees had little space to move around.
The price point was pretty typical of most brunch menus in the city. Pictured is the sweet chick waffle I got. It was delicious! Paired with a mimosa was even better. There is also a location in Brooklyn, so I will check it out soon.
